Sonya Makarov	Gym class. it was quite possibly the only subject she enjoyed. Anything else and she would barely even try. She didn't care about her grades, she wasn't here to learn, after all. She was hear to get away from her overbearing parents, and so far that had worked like a charm. But gym...gym, she was good at. Gym, she liked. In gym, she was dominating. Her rather athletic and ripped physique was a clear statement of that. She wasn't just thin, she was in quite possibly the best condition out of all these other pudgy students. Fat? What was fat? It had no unnecessary place on her body. A mere two percent of the healthy kind of fat (not taking her breasts into account), and the rest was all muscle. That was the one good thing her lifestyle had given her, this body. And what was on the agenda today for class? Swimming. She could do swimming. She didn't even have to get changed; her normal gym attire doubled as a swimsuit. At least she'd be getting a good work out today...she wondered how many laps around the pool she could do in an hour.

Sonya Makarov	When they finally hobbled their way into the nurses office, Miss Ishihada was already there to assist. The nurse practically jumped up from her desk and rushed over to take Sonya from Enya to help her down on one of the beds back behind the curtains. "Oh my, would you look at that bruise," The nurse said, inspecting the stubbed toe. "You'll need to put some ice on that, just give me a minute." In seconds, Miss Ishihada disappeared and returned carrying a large icepack. She gave it to Sonya along with a glass of water and two pills. "Here, hold this on the injury and take these, it'll help with the pain. You can rest here until the end of the day and we'll see how you feel then. if it's just a bruise then you should be okay in a couple of hours, but if it's a fracture then we'll need to take further action. Any questions?" Sonya just blinked at the nurse, too flabbergasted at the woman's overzealous eagerness to help her to answer. "Uh...no....I'm fine," she said. The next second, the nurse was back at her desk and typing on the computer. Sonya blinked again in confusion and stared at the pills, eventually taking them and then holding the ice pack to her toe, though the fact that she had to lean herself forward the entire time to hold it in place meant that she couldn't really lie back to rest, either.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya just watched as everything took place, watching the nurse take care of Sonya as if it was nothing. She knew exactly what to do, what to say, to get everything over with within five minutes. It was like watching a machine work on something before merely moving onto the next task. Enya just shook his head before turning over towards Sonya, his arms crossed over his chest. "I take it that you're not going to need me anymore than?", he asked as he looked over at her. If she wanted someone to talk to he wouldn't mind using this as an excuse to get away from school, but something told him that she didn't seem like the chatty type. After all they barely shared more than three or four sentences before they even arrived here.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya merely shrugged at the boy's question. She didn't really care if he stayed or went. It wasn't like she'd miss him if he were gone, bu he wasn't as annoying as most people she met either. "Do what you want," she said, trying to balance the ice pack on her foot so she could slowly lie back down on her back. Once her head finally got to the pillow, the ice pack slipped off. Leaning back upright, she muttered again under her breath in Russian. "Stupid piece of shit."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya watched as the girl struggled with the ice pack. He shook his head once before moving over and taking the ice pack off the ground and holding it against her foot. "Just lean back and rest, I'll do this", Enya offered as he glanced up at Sonya. The girl was in great physical pain after all

Sonya Makarov	Sonya just stared at the boy when he picked up the icepack and offered to hold it up against her foot. What was with him, anyway? He didn't even know her and he was willing to sit here and hold an icepack against her foot? No one was that nice...he must have had some other motive. Perhaps he just didn't want to go back to class. Or he just wanted in her pants. That was most probable. In either case, she simply shrugged and lay back down, head against the pillow. "Thanks, I guess..." she muttered, taking in a short breath. At least the pain was starting to go down a little.

Hayabusa Enya	"Don't worry about it", Enya said as he continued to hold the ice in hand against Sonya's foot. After a minute or two he glanced up towards her, before looking back down towards the ground again. For a while he just let there be silence, not entirely sure what to say now. "What was Russia like?", he finally asked.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya looked back at him for a moment and shrugged. "Nothing too special," she said. "I lived in Moskow with my parents...the winters were really cold. Lots of snow. My parents kept me sheltered, mostly. Made me work for everything; I was home schooled. They were strict, but fair...gave me discipline. They just...expected too much from me. I enrolled myself in my local high school last year and entered their foreign exchange program...now I'm here." She shrugged again. "Like I said, nothing special."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya nodded a few times. "Moscow, I've read a little bit about that place, heard it's quite nice", he admitted with a tiny shrug as he attempted to continue his idle chatter. Perhaps Enya was being insensitive though, perhaps he should just let her sleep to get over the wound. "If you'd like I can leave you to sleep and rest up, if you think that it would help the recovery", he offered.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya lifted an eyebrow at him. "I'm in mild pain...I'm not tired," she said defiantly. As if a stubbed toe was going to cause her to lazily sleep the afternoon away. Hardly. "This is nothing, just an annoyance. Once when I was twelve, I dislocated both my knees. I couldn't walk for eight months. I didn't complain then and I'm not going to complain now, over this of all things." She folded her arms and stared back at him for several moments, trying to get a read on his reaction.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya raised an eyebrow in surprise. Both her knees at twelve? If it was anyone else he wouldn't have believed them, but given that her expression looked like she was going to rip him in half, he saw no need to challenge it. He gave a tiny bow with his head. "Forgive me, I meant no offense", he said in an apologetic tone. Perhaps she thought he was trying to call her weak or something along those lines. Those weren't Enya's intentions, but he could see how she could see it that way.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya shrugged. It's fine. Not your fault. Most people here aren't used to seeing a strong girl like me. Every other girl I look at, I see only giggling, passive, boy obsessed teens. I guess they aren't used to someone like me..." In fact, if not for her obvious good looks, accentuated by her tip top physique, she could probably be considered juts another one of the boys. he looked back at him and shifted her weight slightly. "I don't think you ever told me your name."

Hayabusa Enya	"Yeah most girls are all the same, only different faces", Enya admitted as he shook his head. He glanced over towards Sonya as she mentioned that he hadn't given her his own name. Had he really forgotten something that obvious? He thought that he had, but he couldn't remember. He shrugged it off before nodding towards her. "Enya Hayabusa", he said simply. He couldn't help but hope that her asking for a name was at least a turn for a less hostile conversation. She hadn't outright attacked him or anything, but he did feel a tad uncomfortable.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya nodded slightly at Enya's introduction. She looked at him a couple more seconds, then held a hand out to shake. She assumed that handshakes were still a similar custom here as it was in Russia. "Sonya Makarov," she said, giving her full name this time. he might already know her name from class roll call or something, but it was still polite to properly introduce herself. "You aren't quite like other people I've met here." He almost thought like she did, actually.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya smiled and returned the hand shake with a solid one of his own. "Pleasure to be on a full name basis with one another", he said with a laugh before hearing her next comment about him not being like the others. "Well can't say that I'm surprised. We come from very different worlds, I don't think you'll find anyone else in the entire school that comes close to being like me", he added before looking at her fully. "I'd say out of anyone you're the one that acts the most like me, way closer than anyone else by far definitely", he remarked with a tiny shrug. "I DO hope that you mean I'm different in a good way", he added with a laugh.

Sonya Makarov	"If you regard being not just another student drone like everyone else who attends this high school and actually have a mind of your own as a good thing," Sonya started, with a shrug, "then yes." She didn't exactly smile in return, because well, she didn't really smile ever. But at least she wasn't frowning anymore. "I don't suppose you could return to the gym and ask the teacher to get my clothes from the girl's locker room, could you?" she asked, glancing down at herself. "This outfit is fine for gym class, but I feel odd lying in bed with it."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya just gave a mild chuckle at her first comment. "Well yes I would definitely consider that a compliment than when you phrase it like that", he said as he looked up at her again. At her next request he gave a nod. "Yeah I can do that", he said as he got to his feet, gently taking his hand off the ice pack in order to not apply any pressure onto Sonya's leg. "I'll tell here and get back here ASAP, I just hope that she doesn't try to keep me in class", he remarked as a yawn came from his mouth. "Be right back", he said before leaving the room. Several minutes later and Enya walked back to where Sonya was, holding a bag under his arm. He placed them next to Sonya. "Coach got them and thankfully sent me back", he said with a laugh. "I'll just step out so you can change than", Enya said as he stepped outside and closed the door behind him in order to give Sonya her privacy.

Sonya Makarov	"Thank you," she said, waiting quietly as he left to go retrieve her clothes. When he returned several minutes later, she slid herself out of the bed and balanced on her good foot. Well, getting changed would certainly be interesting in any case like this. The one thing that confused her though was why Enya gave her the clothes and then excused himself from the entire nurse's office for her to change. She blinked at the door and then back at the curtain that swung around the bed. Did he...not see it? ...pulling the curtain fully around the bed, she proceeded to get changed back into her school uniform.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya waited on the other end of the doorway, waiting for Sonya to finish changing so that he could either rejoin her or escort her back to class or something. He wasn't quite sure. He didn't notice the curtain around her bed due to his cursed 1 intelligence! He pondered how on earth he was supposed to figure out that she was done, after all she probably couldn't walk over and knock on the door. Maybe she'd throw something?

He slowly peaked in, just enough to see that she was fully dressed before allowing himself to come back in. "Just wanted to give ya some privacy", Enya said with a tiny laugh. "Toe still bad?", he asked simply.

Sonya Makarov	"The toe is alright, I guess," she said, after finally seeing Enya return and ask his question. One might have thought he was never coming back, but here he was. "And by the way," she added, grabbing the curtain next to her bed and sliding it back and forth a bit, "there is a curtain. In case you didn't see it. You didn't have to leave the whole office."

He never really came to the Nurse's office, so he supposed that made sense now didn't it? "Well I'll make sure to keep that down for future reference", he said as he felt like a little bit more than a complete idiot. "So, what classes are you taking this year?", he asked curiously.

Sonya Makarov	"Nothing particularly interesting," Sonya said wit a small shrug. "Aside from gym, there's History, Chemistry, Geometry, and Social Studies. I don't much care for any of them, to be honest, except for gym. Gym I am good at." As if anyone looking at her couldn't tell that. Her physique alone screamed gym class. God help anyone who had to face her in dodge ball. "What about you?"

Hayabusa Enya	Enya thought about it for just a second. "I'm taking some history, Geometry, Gym, English, and Japanese", he said as he went through his entire schedule. Yeah that was all of them. "Just some basic stuff since I don't know what I really wanna do with my life yet", he admitted.

Sonya Makarov	"You are not the only one," she said in regards to him not knowing what he wanted to do with his life. There were few who did at this stage of things. She supposed that's what the universities were for, to figure that sort of stuff out. Letting out a long breath, she fell against the bed and stared up at the ceiling. "I'm supposed to be in History class right now, but I don't much want to go there. I don't even think I could make it there, what with my toe and all. The class will have to go on without me," she said, almost to herself. Her toe was feeling better, but that didn't mean she was ready to go back to a likely boring class just yet.
