First topic message reminder :

Sonya Makarov	Gym class. it was quite possibly the only subject she enjoyed. Anything else and she would barely even try. She didn't care about her grades, she wasn't here to learn, after all. She was hear to get away from her overbearing parents, and so far that had worked like a charm. But gym...gym, she was good at. Gym, she liked. In gym, she was dominating. Her rather athletic and ripped physique was a clear statement of that. She wasn't just thin, she was in quite possibly the best condition out of all these other pudgy students. Fat? What was fat? It had no unnecessary place on her body. A mere two percent of the healthy kind of fat (not taking her breasts into account), and the rest was all muscle. That was the one good thing her lifestyle had given her, this body. And what was on the agenda today for class? Swimming. She could do swimming. She didn't even have to get changed; her normal gym attire doubled as a swimsuit. At least she'd be getting a good work out today...she wondered how many laps around the pool she could do in an hour.

Hayabusa Enya	"Perhaps not", Enya agreed with a tiny shrug. "Hell, perhaps ten seconds from now I'll collapse of a heart attack. I really have no idea when I'm going to die", he admitted as he glanced up at the ceiling. "But hey, at least I could've died trying to do something important. Even though I was failing I was trying to help you", he said as he glanced over at her and than down at his wounded chest. "Well, all the serious talk aside. I'm not one to give up when something's going down that I disagree with. I wasn't going to just sit there because I was worried about myself"

Sonya Makarov	"I guess..."she said, with yet another shrug. She didn't really understand him much. She'd always been taught to survive, and putting oneself in harm's way for the well being of someone you'd known for less than two days was not something she understood. She sighed and leaned her head back against the pillow again, resting. Her body suddenly felt very tired. "But even still," she added, with a tired breath, "there has to have been one small part of you that enjoyed seeing me without any clothes on. Even if you weren't thinking about it then. Maybe you're thinking about it now?"

Hayabusa Enya	"Think what you want, but at the time there was nothing attractive about seeing you the way you were", Enya said before a brief pause. "However, under different circumstances I'm not going to lie that there could be potential there", Enya said with a smile of his own as he looked towards Sonya.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya gave him a long look, remaining quite for several moments. Finally, she let out a slight, half hearted laugh. As small a laugh as it was, it was still the first time she'd laughed in forever. "I bet..." she responded, breathing outwardly again. "Thank you, though...for putting my clothes back on before taking me here. Some men might not have had the courtesy."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya just blinked in surprise for several moments as Sonya seemed to let out a genuine laugh at his comment. Well, that was refreshing to hear. He just smiled at her next comment though. "Think nothing of it, it was the least that I could do", Enya said honestly. After all, he hadn't been the one to save her. He still couldn't help but wonder who or what had though.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. Calmly, she shut her eyes, though she wasn't going to sleep, just resting. "Don't think this will put a delay on your training, either... I expect you to be ready again tomorrow. I think we may need a different place, however..." She wasn't exactly keen on returning to that spot. After all, there was no telling who else might follow them there. And next time, they might not be so lucky.

Hayabusa Enya	"Understood, and agreed", Enya said in conjunction with both her comments. "So are you going to be able to leave soon or do you have to stay overnight?", he asked curiously. "If you like I can bring your homework here or something if you need to continue to rest", he offered. After all, this whole training thing WAS his idea. Enya felt semi-responsible for what had taken place.

Sonya Makarov	"They want to keep me here overnight, I guess," she said. "But they won't keep me here longer than that." She'd be damned if she was going to sit around in a hospital bed for days on end. What a drag. "But no, don't bring me my homework...I wouldn't hate it if it conveniently got lost on its way to me."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya just laughed once again. "Fair enough than", he said as he moved over towards the door. "If you'd like I can stay and chat if you want, or I can leave so you can rest if you're still in any pain", he offered casually. She was the one in more pain, so he didn't want to be a bother at all.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya shrugged. "Do what you want, I don't really care either way." She still wasn't in a talking mood, but she wasn't going to yell at him to go away either. He could do what he wanted. if he wanted to stay and talk with her, she could just suck it up and talk to him. Even if she wasn't fond of talking.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya nodded, not entirely certain about what he should pick. He felt like he should pick staying to talk, but he wasn't quite sure if that was what she wanted. It was a hard pick. "So what did the doctors say the worst of the damage was? You were bleeding out your ears earlier after all"

Sonya Makarov	"I don't know, something about internal bleeding," she said, rubbing the side of her head. "I wasn't really paying attention, to be honest. It was the shock wave from the explosion that did the damage to my body...the blows to my face were minor and the black eye and lip should heal in a few days. Other than that...I guess I'm perfectly fine." That was actually a joke, if one could tell from her. Not that she sounded like she was joking, so it was likely to come across as her just being serious.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya raised an eyebrow in curiosity as he saw that Sonya was making a joke.......he thought? He couldn't tell. "Um....right", he said as he had no idea how to respond to that. "That sounds like quite the list, but they're only going to keep you a few days?"

Sonya Makarov	"This body isn't just nice to look at," she said, quite seriously. "It's strong, too. I've always healed fast, so this is nothing... I would be home already today if they weren't watching me to make sure I didn't leave." She folded her hands across her chest and stared back at him, unblinking. She was quite proud of her body in that regard...not about its fine features, but how strong she'd made it through the years.

Hayabusa Enya	Enya nodded in agreement with her comments. "I can tell, my best quality in regards to my body is my strength. The fact that you took a kick, given one with poor technique, so easily just makes me realize how tough you really are Sonya. It's another one of the reasons why I look forward to our continued training together", he said with a grin.

Sonya Makarov	Sonya nodded back at him. "Despite my resiliency, I still felt your kick." The rubbed her side, where he had kicked her earlier. "I can tell that you are strong. You might have even left a bruise... I think that perhaps you'll be a good student. But, that remains to be seen. You only got through fifty kicks today, remember. That means tomorrow you have nine hundred and fifty to do, in order to make up for them."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya's smile was only dashed a few moments later as he realized that he had to do nearly a thousand kicks tomorrow. Now that wouldn't be fun. But questioning it would only mean that she wouldn't train him anymore. "Right.......it'll get done", he said with a nod. "How many days do you plan on having me do that if I may ask?"

Sonya Makarov	"Until I say it's been enough," was her simple response. She held her hands back behind her head and took in a deep breath, slowly letting it out. "I would say probably another week or so, then you'll be allowed a couple days off so your shins can heal and become stronger. Then, you repeat the process. In total, you'll be kicking things for around a month. But when you're through with it, your kicks will strike harder than a baseball bat."

Sonya Makarov	"That will not be for a long time," Sonya insisted, looking back at him. "You've seen those men. Without the proper training, they will tear you apart. They may be little more than aggressive brutes, but against other brutes, the bigger man usually wins. Plus, you don't want to find yourself in there with someone who actually knows what they're doing, either, like some of the more experienced fighters. It'll be even longer before you could stand a chance against one of them."

She wasn't going to be teaching an idiot who didn't want to listen to her, after all. -Some months later- Though it was currently spring break, and they weren't supposed to really be on campus, Sonya had things she needed to do. Like keep teaching Enya, for example. And since they had been using the gymnasium's practice dummies after school for his training, they were just going to have to break in there for their daily sessions. And so, that is how they ended up here, fumbling with the lock on the gymnasium door so they could bust in there and practice.

Sonya Makarov	"I might have some experience," she remarked, slipping a bobby pin from her sleeve into her fingers. Why she had one on her and knew how to use it to pick the lock was a mystery. It took her only several moments before the lock popped free and she pulled it off the doors. She then walked in casually to the gymnasium, which right now was rather dark. She started feeling along the walls for the light switch. Sexy, a badass, and a delinquent. Could there be any more of an interesting combination in a girl? When at last she found the lights, she turned to Enya and said, "Go get the practice dummies from the storage closet."

Hayabusa Enya	Enya only barely opened his mouth to ask about the bobby pin before the lock was already off and done with. He just blinked, amazed at the speed at which she did that. He figured it better not to ask how she knew how to do that. "Righto", Enya said before heading to the storage closet, easily finding a few dummies before bringing them back to the area where Sonya was.
