Faculty List

This is a list of the entire faculty (at least the important ones) that is employed at Kobayashi Academy. Most of these are free NPCs, which can be used by anyone in their RP. We just ask that you try to adhere best you can to their given personalities when using them. The few with a name in parentheses, however, are controlled by the moderators and administrator, and may not be RPed by anyone else. If you desire to interact with one of the mod controlled faculty members, please send a message their way, and in most cases they will be happy to RP them with you.

Principal: Himura Saki (Kenji)



A generally serious woman, she does not take her job as principal lightly. She will enforce the rules, though she doesn't usually dole out punishments for minor violations like chewing gum or eating snacks in the hallway. Don't try smoking in the bathrooms, though. While she is typically serious, however, she does have a humorous, playful side, and can be quite sarcastic, even if her tone remains calm. Overall, she does her best to run her school as best she can and make sure that her students can learn in the best possible environment.

Vice Principal: Akiyama Aiko



The Vice Principal of the school, a woman that takes great satisfaction in her job and does her best in order to prove that she’s just as important as anyone else there. She often attempts to pick up the slack where anyone has it dropped, not wanting the school’s image to suffer for someone else’s mess up. She is also in charge of the school's music club.

Superintendent: Hamasaki Goro



Do not bullshit this man. The superintendence takes the school rules very seriously and does his utmost to enforce them. If he catches you chewing gum, or eating snacks in the hallways, for example, he will write you up. This is not to say he isn't fair. Follow the rules, and he's a relatively fine guy to be around. But screw with him and the rules, and he will come down on you.

Secretary: Nakahara Mei



Mei is an extremely calm and level headed woman, always showing courtesy and respect to those that need it, while making sure that those beneath her earn it before she shows any to them. She does her work like most at the school, and she’s known for her tendency to have everything in a proper place. Rumor has it the janitor has never once touched her office.

Guidance Councilor: Fujimoto Haruki



One of the youngest employees at the school, Haruki is considered to be a kind hearted individual and seems to truly care about his ability to help the students grow and continue through their education. It’s said that he can keep any secret, no matter how dark it really is.

Algebra: Suzuki Kenta



A man whose mind is filled with numbers at every possible turn. The only thing faster than his brain is possibly his mouth. His students often have a hard time keeping up with the pace at which he teaches, due to the fact that he believes that everyone is on the same mental level as he is. He doesn’t understand why everyone’s grade isn’t as good as he wants it. He is also in charge of the school's math club.

Calculus: Yamamoto Misaki



Misaki is an extremely shy woman. Despite having a brain that rivals Professor Suzuki’s, she constantly downgrades herself and is worried that people laugh at her behind her back. Because of that her homework load on students is usually quite easy, and her tests are considered a joke at best. However, it worked. The students are quite fond of this easy teacher. She coaches the school's volleyball team.

Geometry: Takahashi Suzu



Some people know Suzu as the hot geometry teacher. Others know her as just a bitch. Typically, those that know her as a bitch are her female students, who she seems to be very hard on in her classes. She gives them more homework, and treats them rather nastily. She is generally easier on her male students, and actually seems rather playful and flirtatious with them. Whether or not this is purely for her own amusement, or if she really is a loose woman, is entirely unknown.

Japanese History: Kimura Yori



A real hard ass. This man seems to take pleasure in making his students' lives as miserable as possible. He enjoys assigning a lot of homework, and will go out of his way to punish those who break the rules. Unlike the superintendent, though, he is generally mean about it, and will do his best to make sure he catches you doing something wrong. He is one of the least liked teachers at Kobayashi Academy by far. He coaches the school's wrestling team.

Geography: Kisakawa Taiki



The newest member of the Kobayashi Academy teaching department, Taiki is fresh out of the university and has just landed his first teaching role. He still looks quite young, however, and his relatively short stature does not help him much in appearing authoritative. He is generally nervous around his students, and self conscious about his height and young looks. He is in charge of the school's art club after school hours.

Social Studies: Minami Rina



A pretty quiet, soft spoken woman, Rina is the school's social studies teacher. Though she is very knowledgeable on the subject matter, she tends to be a bit nervous when speaking in front of her students, which can lead to her stumbling over her words and otherwise making herself appear foolish. This usually leads to a series of apologies for her mistakes, and her blushing profusely half the day.

Biology: Irada Natsume (Problematic)



A mad scientist whose crazed personality would be just as dangerous as Michi's if her obsession wasn't with sharp and pointy objects. Instead she seems even more dangerous as she rambles on about dissecting any random thing that seems interesting to her, including people. Her attempts seem playful and halfhearted and so far she hasn't actually succeeded in dissecting any students or fellow teachers so she's been allowed to stay, but she's the one to watch out for upon arriving to the school and is usually the first warning given. Contrary to what one may believe, her classes can be quite fun and interesting with her off the wall teaching methods and it's almost guaranteed that something interesting will happen in every period. She's both a school nightmare and a student favorite all in the same package and despite constant trouble she's managed to keep her ass out of the flames of unemployment.

Chemistry: Fujioka Michi



Quite a few students are afraid of Fujioka Michi, though not because she's a mean person or anything. Rather, she tends to take experiments a little too far sometimes in her classroom. On more than one occasion, the school has had to call the fire department due to a small chemical fire or explosion. However, she is quite the genius when it comes to chemistry, and tries to make her class as fun as possible, even if some of her students might fear for their lives half the time. She is charge of the school's science club.

Physics: Koizumi Setsuka



Setsuka truly does enjoy her work. She makes a game of it almost, teaching her classes with enthusiasm and having a very friendly and approachable demeanor. On occasion, she has been known to take her classes outside if the weather is nice enough, as she enjoys teaching in a natural atmosphere. She also happens to be the school's track coach, being a former high school track star herself.

Athletic Director: Ueda Yamato



Yamato was a coach that went to school for several years with a desire to go into professional college teaching. However, he wasn’t good enough to immediately be recognized out of school. Because of that, he teaches at this High School, a task that he finds rather dull in comparison to what he wanted. He treats the kids harshly, expecting any failure to be corrected immediately. He coaches the school's baseball team.

Gym Teacher: Yamaguchi Tomoko



A former Olympic athlete, Tomoko does her best to make sure that all students in her class get the most out of their P.E. time. A normal class time with her might involve swim lessons, sports activities, or work out routines. Though not all people are made for gym, she pushes her students as far as she knows they can go, and tries to bring out the best in them. She is a generally caring person, but can be tough. She also coaches both the school's men's and women's swim teams.

Japanese: Watanabe Hachiro



A deep and thoughtful man who always has his mind in a book. It’s said that he’s extremely easy to talk to and tries to develop a closeness with his students in order to get them to try to learn better. He often quotes experiences from his life or stories from books in order to help the students with any problem they are having. He is considered one of the favorite teachers at Kobayashi. He runs the school's newspaper club.

English: Hanyou Rakdos



Extremely distant from others, not that he goes out of his way to be rude but he just makes it a point to not really make friends. He does the usual office chatter with other teachers, but he doesn't have a list of people to hang with.

German: Nishimura Chiyo



There isn't a single thing that can bring this woman down. Chiyo always seems to be in a good mood, and can find the good in any situation, no matter how negative it may appear. She is the epitome of a "glass half full" kind of person. She always tries to get her students to cheer up if they're feeling down, as there is no place for negativity in her classroom.

Dutch: Muzushima Jiro



Another employee that was recruited out of college. For his mastery in the Dutch and Japanese languages Jiro was able to locate a job at the high school with very little competition against him. He usually remains detached from his students, merely trying to work in order to get the paycheck for himself. Often times he mutters insults under his breath in Dutch, just in case anyone tries to listen.

Custodian: Kimura Katsu



A pretty down to earth guy, Katsu is the school's custodian. He is responsible for the cleanliness of the building and all of its facilities, and amazingly, he does a fantastic job himself, without any help. How one man is able to keep the place in tip top condition all the time is a mystery, but he is highly valued by the administration for his work. He doesn't generally talk a lot, preferring to keep to himself, but if approached he might say a few words.

Maintenance: Matsumoto Izumi



Have something that needs to be fixed? Izumi is the girl to call. She's what keeps this school up and running, fixing anything from a leaky pipe to a gas leak in the boiler room. She's quite gifted in repairing just about anything, having grown up in a house of mechanics, repairmen, and general handymen. She enjoys working with her hands, and takes pride in everything she fixes. You can often see her around the school working on something or other, and she always enjoys talking with the students.

Computer Technician: Takada Masaru



A generally laid back and "cool" person, Takada Masaru is what keeps the computers in the school up and running. Have a computer problem? He'll take care of it in a flash. He also maintains the school website and runs routine maintenance on the school's net. He's a pretty fun and interesting person to talk to, much like just another student himself. He graduated from Kobayashi Academy years before, and now he's back running the school's tech department. He is also in charge of the school's computer club.

School Nurse: Ishihada Taka



The Kobayashi school nurse is very diligent about her job, and cares greatly for the student population. She will do whatever it takes to make sure that any student feeling ill is well taken care of. There isn't a single basic sickness she doesn't know how to combat, though she's not exactly a hospital doctor. She does her best, however, and will stick by a student's side throughout whatever they are suffering through.
