Living a double life? mixing with the wrong crowd gets you in trouble...

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Bell tolling and signaling that the match had started, a rather large looking man stood there looking at the 18 year old girl that stood before him “hey little girl, don't you know this is a weapons match?” Nina just laughed before she turned around and revealed her middle name, the man read it and cackled with laughter “you think a simple middle name will scare me!?” he said laughing before she suddenly held two tonfa's and rammed one into his stomach as she grinned before twisting around to hit him again before she jumped into the air rotating her body around before slamming her foot into the guys face making him crumple down, she grinned as she jumped back to feel some kind of cold metal drill her in the back, it was a baseball bat thrown at her from the crowd. “tch!” was all she could say from the anger of someone throwing a bat to hit her. She noticed the man caught it and charged her with it, “shit!” she thought to herself as she brought the tonfa's up to block the bat before she hit the guys arm in three places before she grabbed one of the tofons in a different place before she pulled them together hard enough to heard a sudden snapping sound from the bone breaking. Nina stood over the man before she booted him in the face, “thats for hitting a girl you bastard” she said before she walked out of the cage hearing peoples hatred and what not to her winning the fight, “stupid high and mighty people...” she said as she walked out reverting her inner clothing back to a normal tank top of her school uniform. She sighed as she looked at it before she converted it to her favorite style of clothing, well mainly her favorite armor, she walked into the locker room to grab her backpack and her stuff, she pulled out a smoke and popped it in her mouth before she noticed her cheek was red from the hit she received earlier, “damn prick...” she said as she lit the smoke and walked out of the building taking a puff and exhaling the smoke, she walked by the guy who payed her to come in every once in a while to have fights with random people in his arena for illegal street fighting, they usually got very messy and bloody when most people did it but she refured to keep it from getting messy if she could help it. After Nina's long walk back to the campus she snuck back in the same way she would always sneak out, she looked around to make sure it was all clear before she started walking about the school grounds, “oh damn...” she thought to herself before she quickly reverted her school uniform back to normal, she then placed what she needed to keep a secret in her backpack except for her smokes, it was no secret she smoked, one could smell if on their breath or their clothing. She still had to finish her smoke too anyways, she took a puff of it as she started to walk along the path, “I wonder if a teacher will see me with this...” she thought to herself as she continued to walk. She heard someone running at her from behind, she turned around to notice it was one of her friends from the school campus, her dorm roomy as well, "NINA!!!" the young lady shouted as she tackled Nina, she sighed as she took the weight and fell upon the grass, "hey Sakura." Nina said as she smiled at her friend, "why aren't you in class?" she asked looking at her after Sakura let her up, "its Friday silly I have no classes today, whats on your mind?" Sakura asked looking at Nina as she sat on the grass, Sakura was somewhat nerdy but none the less she still had an attractive body regardless as she enjoyed gym as well. "Oh that's right, hehe my bad, sorry just wondering about whats going on with my mom at home right now, her letter said she was moving again because her job was sending her to a new location." Nina said before she got a text message on her cellphone from one of the higher ups in a gang she was trying to get into to see the gang life from their side before she judged them to harshly, it was a tough life living to lives one being with the Yakuza and the other being a school girl, not to mention trying to keep it all a secret from both.

Menboku walked towards the school. He hated this about Friday's. He wanted to go down the police station! But his dad would never let him go, not unless his homework for the next day was done AND he had no classes. "Sometimes I wonder if HE ever had fun as a kid", Menboku said under his breath as he entered the school. It was Friday and he only had one class, that was the worst part. He had to wait like eight hours just to go to one class, before he could meet up with his dad at work.

Ever since Menboku was young he idealized those that upheld the law and defended the week. It was why the American Western film genre was probably his favorite. It was always a case of good vs evil, and good always came out on top. His dad was living the modern version of that, being an enforcer in the police. That was what Menboku wanted for himself. And with his new power, he had the ability to do it. He just needed to figure out how.

Menboku took a seat in math class and sat down calmly. It was going to be a long hour and a half, hopefully he could get through it quickly enough.

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Nina managed to finally get away from Sakura as she didn't have class but Nina did, she made her way to the classroom quickly after grabbing her books from Sakura as she always seemed to be carrying her books around like her personal living locker, she didn't mind it as long as Sakura didn't and it seemed she didn't, she made her way quickly to the door before she realized she still had her smoke between her lips, it was out by now as she didn't take a puff from it for a while, oh well what's the worse that could happen to her from the teacher. Nina walked in and made sure the smoke was out before she chucked it in the garbage and walked over to her seat and sat down dropping her books on her desk making as much noise as she could possibly muster before she finally sat down and sighed "why do I always end up being late." she said to herself not aware of the fact she said it loud enough for people to hear her, she didn't pay it much attention right now but the fact that a few people we're still gawking at her made her wonder, she looked down, "dammit! my stitches opened up!" she thought to herself without realizing the wound was bleeding now, the teacher sighed as he looked at Nina, "getting into fights again are we?" he asked as he looked at Nina, she shrugged and sighed, "do what makes you happy." she said, the wound wasn't bad but it was still going to stain the crap out of her shirt, oh well, she could always get a new one with the money she made from the fight earlier.

Menboku's eyes slowly turned towards the classroom door as someone entered in late. Just like always, it was Nina. His eyes narrowed for a moment as she took a seat as if nothing was wrong or abnormal about the situation. Obviously something was up, something was always up with her. While nothing had been proven or looked into, Menboku's father had mentioned that Nina was suspected to be involved with some shady stuff, stuff that his father was going to look into. It hadn't been said directly, but Menboku got the implication that his dad wanted him to watch Nina, see if he could learn anything about what it was that she did, what she was getting herself into. He turned towards the front of the class again. Anything he could learn on her would have to wait for the moment. He couldn't follow or interrogate her here.

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Nina glanced over at some of her classmates to see that they we're still staring at her, it annoyed her a bit but oh well, what could she do about it without making a big scene, she noticed one of the people in familiar, "whats his name again..." Nina thought to herself as she looked back at her classmate before she glanced back to the front of the classroom. She did indeed know everyone's name in her class but she would get them all mixed up more and more due to her having to learn more new names, crazy asian gangs. She waited through the class until the recess bell went, "Nina, would you mind going to see the nurse about that wound of yours?" the teacher asked before the teacher looked over at Menboku, "do you mind making sure she gets there and come straight back?" the teacher asked kindly, Nina looked at the teacher and gave her a dull look as if saying "I can get there myself, I'm not fricken criplped!"

Menboku glances up as the class ended, seeing the teacher was now talking to him. What on earth did she want? He glanced over towards Nina, the girl he had looked at earlier. He bit down on his lip, well this looked like it might pay off. "Yes teacher", Menboku said simply. He didn't want to seem too eager for it, otherwise she might suspect something. He gathered up his stuff and looked over at Nina. She didn't look happy about it, he wouldn't either if he had someone assigned to babysit him. "Relax", he said in a whisper. "I'll take you out like I'm escorting ya, than we can just sneak out of here if ya want. Class is over so no one will know"

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Nina sighed as she stood up after placing her books and stuff in a backpack of hers that was amongst other things, like bracelets, watch, and a bunch of other personal belongings that she usually carried on her, she put some of her bracelets on as well as the watch before she started for the door being followed by Menboku, "escort? what is this? the 1860's?" she asked thinking of the cowboys and indians era.

Menboku shrugged as he threw on his own bag. IT wasn't like it was his idea to take her, however he couldn't deny how much help he was now going to have on this case. All he needed was something! Anything that would allow his father to make something of, the tiniest hint would be helpful. He just had to be subtle about it though. "I know right?", he asked with a laugh to try to get her to agree with him. "Anyway, do you want to even go to the nurse or what should we do?"

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Nina turned around at Menboku's statement, "are your trying to ask me on a date?" she asked, her speed in turning around some might have called inhuman but it was just simple balance and speed she used to turn around as fast as she did. "because I don't know you well enough to be accepting any dates from people I don't know." she said with a sly grin on her face as she was trying to get a blush out of the poor guy, she shrugged, "who knows I need to get this wound stitched back up though, stupid cut..." she said murmuring to herself even though Menboku might have caught wind of what she said as it was said probably loud enough even for a murmur. She turned and started to walk for the door to leave the classroom and make her way to the medical room.

Menboku wouldn't give her the satisfaction of blushing though, controlling his emotions was something that he was pretty good with, and he recognized an attempt at intimidation that she was pulling. He wasn't going to show that she had any power over him though, he wouldn't fall for it. "No, just asking a question", he said simply before making his own way towards the door in order to escort her to the medical room. "How'd you get cut like that anyway", he asked as they walked.

Nina Ares Knightwalker	Nina just sighed as Menboku asked his question like he was asking for her name, "do you stick your nose this far into everyone's business?" She asked looking at him curiously, "why's he so damn nosy" she thought to herself before she heard her other cell go off with a ringtone that probably could be recognized as the metal gear solid snake eater theme song, god she loved that game series it was the best! She opened it up to see the caller to see it was her mom, "hello? oh, hi mom, no yeah, I made it to class-- I-- SHUT UP AND LET ME FUCKING TALK!" she said ending with a yell, "I was trying to say I made it to class and was a little late, I just barely missed the bell this time." she said as she listened to her mothers voice on the other end of the phone, she felt her given phone start vibrating in her bra and shook her head, "could they be calling at a worse time?" she thought to herself as she cut her mother off, "yeah I promise I'll get better at it, I gotta go mom love you, I need to get stitches for my cut before it gets infected or something." she said as she snapped the phone shut and placed it in her pocket before she pulled the other phone from her bra and looked at the phone, "oh it's a text." she said wanting to face palm herself right now, she flipped it open and stopped as she read it, it was good news for her, and probably for Menboku if he could read the text or even anything upon the screen. Nina kept the phone tilted on an angle that he'd just see the glare of lights or else what, she also kept her eyes on him to see how nosy this kid really was. "right on, I don't know what kind of people you like to hang out with but I got some people I gotta meet for a few minutes then we can go hang out for a bit if you want." she said as she snapped the white cell shut and placed it back in her bra.
